Teil 2 der fünfteiligen Aichtal Wilderness Serie
Aichtal Grötzingen gilt als beschauliches Städtchen am Rand der Fildern. Es gibt aber auch Stellen, die ganz besondere physische Herausforderungen stellen. Ihnen ist diese Cache-Serie „Aichtaler-Wildnis“ gewidmet. Man könnte auch meinen der Cache sei von den örtlichen Wasch-Salons gesponsert, denn man kann schmutzig werden, nass und mit Dornen übersät. Also kein Cache für Sonntagskleidung oder Stöckelschuhe aber auch nicht geeignet für Kinderwagen oder Motorräder selbst das Mountain Bike muss irgendwann abgestellt werden.
Die Serie umfasst fünf Caches. Die ersten vier können direkt aufgesucht werden. Es sind Mikros und auf dem Log-Streifen sind jeweils zwei Buchstaben – Zahlen Kombinationen aufgeführt – die man für den fünften Bonus-Cache benötigt.
Ein lauschiges Tal kann schnell zum unüberwindbaren Hindernis werden. Rutschen und Klettern, Kriechen und Springen sind angesagt. Unsere eigene Kleidung war danach total reif für die Wäsche.
Am 31.05.2008 um ca. 6m nach Norden verlegt. Koordinaten passen immer noch. Jetzt passt er von der Schwierigkeit zu den übrigen Wildnis-Caches.
Am 12.12.2009: Ursprüngliches Versteck vergebröckelt - Cache in die linke Ecke der Felswand verlegt. (siehe auch Eintrag vom 12.12.2009)
Aichtal Grötzingen is a peaceful little town at the edge of the Fildern plains. But there are places which are a real physical challenge. The series “Aichtaler Wildnis” is dedicated to those places. You might think that these caches are sponsored by the local washing – saloons, because you will get dirty, wet and covered with prickly thorns. This is no cache for business suites or high-heels. It does not support Kinderwagen or Motorbikes – even the Mountainbike must be left behind from certain points on.
The series contains five caches. The first four can be logged directly. They are micros and on the log you will find each time two letter – number combinations, which you will need for the coordinates of Cache No. V.
A peaceful valley may change fast into a challenging obstacle. Slipping and climbing, down to your knees and big jumps are necessary to get to the target. Afterwards our own clothes were ready for a big wash.
Today May-31st-2008 we moved the Cache about 6 meters to the right (north) and 1 meter up. Coordinates are still ok. Now it fits to the rest of the wilderness series.
ERGÄNZENDER HINWEIS (13.Juni 2008): Sehr hohe Mißweisung am Cache wegen schlechtem Empfang. Koordinate führt zu einer Felswand - Cache (helle große Dose) ist IN der Felswand. Cache von unten her suchen - von oben her gefährlich.
ADDITIONAL HINT (June 13th 2008): Very bad signal at the cliff with high variance in the direchtion. Therefore coordinates will lead you to a cliff IN which the cache (regular)is hidden. Search from below - from the top its dangerous.
Add-on 12.12.2009: Old hidig place crumbled away - new hide in same cliff more to the left.
