A cammo'd screw top container along an ATV trail, overlooking the beautiful Kenai River.
This cache has been placed with permission from Spin'nGlo, on her property, in memorial to her wonderful four-legged companion, Trapper.
Trapper was a beautiful golden retriever who was born in England, and emmigrated to Alaska when he was two. Exploring the trails and welcoming visitors to fish camp were some of his favorite weekend pastimes.
We wanted to remember Trapper with this dog-themed cache after his passing in the Spring of 2008.
At mile 78 of the Sterling Hwy, take Feuding Ln. to Kenai Keys. Turn left and head towards Dot's Fish Camp. Suggested parking at N60'29.444, W150'37.164. Walk along the powerline towards the ridge, then follow the ATV trail and your GPS.
Some of this land is private property, so please be courteous.
