blairt: Went by today to check on the cache and sure enough the cache is gone. I have replaced this cache several times over the years, so I am going to archive Henefer Pioneer Trails to open up this area for another cacher to place a totally awesome cache here.

Thanks to all that have visited and found the Henefer Pioneer Trails Cache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is at the Henefer Pioneer Trails Park. You can park within 20 feet of the cache.


I found this area while driving up to East Canyon and I was surprised it didn't have a cache.
There is a monument that gives details about three pioneer trails that came through the Henefer area.
  • The Mormon Pioneer Trail
  • The Pony Express Trail
  • The California Trail
Take some time and read each panel, there is pretty interesting information about each trail.

This is a log only cache so bring something to write with.
As always please watch for muggles while getting and replacing the cache.
