PlacerCacher, The WeeCachers and I were exploring sections of Mosquito Rd that we hadn't been on before. We enjoyed lunch at Looky Loo and continued up the road until we needed to stop for a WeeCacher, umm..wee break. We found a spot that was just off the main road and drove up and parked.
I noticed quite a few buzzards hanging around the area but didn't think too much of it as well, I am getting up in years and buzzards tend to follow me around (kind of like rattlesnakes).
The Weecacher relieved, we explored a small trail and hid a cache then headed back to the Expedition when PlacerCacher noticed the reason for the buzzards overhead. (To figure it out, the name of the cache is in GAELIC).
I rated this cache as a 2.5 terrain because some vehicles may not be able to drive up to the parking area and you will have a short hike from Mosquito Rd. which is pretty wet and wild when wet. Our GPSrs were jumping around with the coords a bit too, so if you want a really good hint. Look at the photo in the gallery.
