Easy Park and Grab
This is #18 in our series dedicated to our love of Country Music.
We've never sold out to anybody, What you see is what you get".~~~ Eddie Montgomery.
"My Town". Written and sung by the Country Duet of Montgomery Gentry. This group has shot its way to the top of the Country Charts in a very short period of time. Their music is real, no bull about it music, what you hear and what you see is what you get. They are awesome in Concert also.
My Town is one of their first big hits, it describes life in the small town, the neat little things we have that no one else has.
"There's a "For Sale" sign on a big old rusty tractor.
You can't miss it, it's the first thing that you see.
Just up the road, a pale-blue water tower,
With "I Love Jenny" painted in bright green.
Hey, that's my Uncle Bill, there by the courthouse.
He'll be lowerin' the flag when the sun goes down.
And this is my town.
Yeah, this is my town.
Where I was born, where I was raised.
Where I keep all my yesterdays.
Where I ran off 'cos I got mad,
An' it came to blows with my old man.
Where I came back to settle down,
It's where they'll put me in the ground:
This is my town.
Yeah, this is my town.
My town."
These two small towns we live in, raised in, border each other. The towns of Osceola/Mishawaka. Come visit.
We have great things to do, we have cool places to visit and eat. We also have some great watering holes.
THIS IS OUR TOWN.
This caches starts off a cool little walking series too.
If you start here and follow your GPS, you can make a nice afternoon of caching in the area, easy park and grab.
It is busy during the day so after hours would be better.
BYOP.
