Willow Lake

Most of us know that Minnesota is known as the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes'. (there are actually 12,538 but we ran out of names for all of them) If you want tranquility and a picturesque place for some recreation, Willow Lake is it!

Known for it's wonderful fishing and awesome water clarity, Willow Lake (AKA: No-Ta-She-Bun) is another hidden gem in Cass County. Local fisherman know that Bass and Walleye inhabit these waters and make for some fun fishing. Those that enjoy the peace and quiet have a special feeling for this spot. It's not unusual to have glassy water all day with the well-protected shoreline. Willow Lake is a place that has something for everyone. The Minnesota DNR has provided a nice boat launch for those of you that enjoy fishing the deeper parts of the lake and there's plenty of parking area for your vehicle & trailer.

Spend some extra time to take in the beauty of Willow Lake. Be sure to take a deep breath and exhale slowly, this is what life in Minnesota is all about!
