Geocache Description:

10,0000 Lakes of Minnesota Series

dockRound Lake

Most of us know that Minnesota is known as the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes'. (there are actually 12,538 but we ran out of names for all of them) This Geocaching experience will take you to Round Lake in Itasca County. This is a regular camouflaged Lock & Lock not far from the boat landing.

Here's another, very popular and well known lake with great fishing! Enjoy this expansive & well-stocked lake in Northern Itasca County while searching for the Geocache.

Round Lake in Northern Itasca County is a great lake for a family fishing trip. It has two nice public access points, one on the North side of the lake and this one on the East side. Nearby Squaw Lake has gas, lodging, food and entertainment and best of all, no traffic lights! Another great place to camp, fish & relax.

Congrats to Loaner on another FTF! He grabbed the Presidential Gold $1 coin for his effort. Don't worry, there are other knickknacks for the rest of you to grab.

Happy Caching! zebra

PLEASE NOTE: Parking will be VERY LIMITED during busy times of the fishing season. Park smart so that you don't impede traffic at the landing.
