Geocache Description:

This Cache is located north of State Road in Kalkaska, MI. It is on state land off of some two track. Plan to walk or bike to the Cache Site.

There are some two track trails that run through this area that make for some nice, easy hiking or biking. The area that this cache is placed in is known for having Morel Mushrooms. For more information visit thegreatmorel.com. If you do try to find the mushrooms, you'll probably find that they are more elusive than this cache.

Also note that although many online maps show State Rd connecting to Rabourn Rd in the west, this is not the case. To get to this cache you need to approach from the east by taking either CR 571 or CR 612 (depending on where you are coming from).
