Large tupperware type container should be an easy find. Please allow mmacgown to get the FTF and first choice of SWAG as a 3000 find tribute. If you're eager for an FTF or need that cache fix- hunt for Lakeland Log.
Park at Lakeland County Park on Johnson Ave near the Islandia/Ronkonkoma boundary. Then, to borrow the words of Horace Greeley- "Go west young man". And don't forget your jodhpurs.
As a young man I did in fact spend some time here by walking along the then non-electrified railroad tracks and visiting the pond. The place brings back memories- although it is much different then than it is now.
