This cache will take you to the last place that I sighted the elusive Tennessee Turd Bird!
My Grandparent’s place is in this area. I will never forget that when we came to visit them we would some times stop by this place to pick up a few things and look at the stuff they had there for the tourist to spend their money on. I did pick up my first whoopee cushion here but the thing that sticks out in my mind the most was the “Tennessee Turd Bird“.
Get this, someone somewhere would take a chunk of some kind manure and stab some pipe cleaners into it for the legs. Another pipe cleaner came out of the top to hold up the manure head and then a few feathers were attached to the manure body for the wings. They also attached a beak and some google eyes to the manure head. If you attach that to a chunk of wood with “Tennessee Turd Bird” written along the bottom you would have your very own “Tennessee Turd Bird”. That is what you will have to do if you want one because you will not get one here anymore.
You are looking for a gift card holder painted flat black. I did talk to the property owner, Garvice, to get permission to place the cache.
All of that said, Enjoy the cache!
