Boardwalk Bounce Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

captainshark32: This cache has been swiped with all the bouncy balls in it. I hate to archive it because it was my favorite of my own caches, but it would be too much work to reconfigure it to another hiding place. I HATE GEO-THIEVES!!

Geocache Description:

I did all the footwork and placing of this cache on November 24th, 2007, but soon found out that the signs are covered up for the winter so it is being opened on the day the signs got uncovered this year and is a seasonal cache (mid-May through mid-November).

THE BOARDWALK PART-----This cache consists of a 2.25 mile (round trip) walk on a boardwalk that runs along the Lake Huron shoreline in St. Ignace. The starting point is near a gazebo in a park that you can enjoy a little lunch before or after your trek. There are numerous educational signs along your 1.125 mile walk on the boardwalk to the lighthouse past the marina. Listed below are the names of the signs and the questions you will have to answer from each to get the coordinates of the actual cache box.

THE BOUNCE PART-----Inside the cache box are many signature bouncy balls for this cache. My daughter collects bouncy balls so I ask that you leave a bouncy ball in the cache if you take a bouncy ball out of the cache. Please leave a description of the ball you left (color, where you got it, how high you have bounced it, etc.) as it gives her more of a story about the ball when we take them out of the cache. She has been on many caching adventures with me so I am starting this cache on her 8th birthday. Hopefully we will have fun with this one for years to come…
