This will be SDAJumpmaster's
final event before heading to Afghanistan for some righteous combat
zone caching. There will not be anything really special planned; we
just want to get all of our good caching friends together to see
him off.

The vaunted history of the
Loyal Royal Order of the Sleepless
Knights
The Royal Order of the Sleepless Knights are an ancient order
dedicated to the preservation of honor, justice and property
rights, sworn to defend capitalism and the free market economy from
the thieves and vandals who roam the night. For many years I was
apprenticed to a great defender of the faith, Sir MonkeyBrad of
Bell Buckle, and on this very field on a cold December night in
2007 I was knighted and swore my oath to the order. I have often
been visited by both friend and foe during those lonely hours of
the night as I watched and waited for the enemies of freedom to
appear. To this date the knights have never lost a battle, though
we suffered many indignities and injuries while defending the
borders of our land.
Sharing the Night
Watch...
Although I have watched in secret for many moons, I have decided
to share my solitary watch with any true friends of geocaching who
are crazy enough to drive way out in the county in the middle of
the night. There is no program that will be presented, there will
be no comfy chairs and no good reason for you to get out of the bed
and make this journey. I will regale you with tales of geocaching
far and wide, and I will listen to your stories as well. If you
have ever had any questions that you thought I might be able to
answer I will be happy to try, and I will even be willing to work
on planning puzzle caches with you or working with you on some of
mine.
The bottom
line...
I will be here all night and if you want to come by and spend
some time talking about geocaching with me and anyone else who
shows up, come on out.
There are a couple of things you need to know if you want to join
me.
There is no camping available in the area and I can't think of any
hotels within 1.5 miles.
There is no secret "cool" thing that is going to happen at this
event.
As a matter of fact, I fully expect no one to attend, but I will be
there nonetheless.
With all that said, I hope to see you there...
