Spiritual Thirst Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GCTeamOregon: This cache was published as a traditional cache. For a cache type to be changed after publication, a new cache page needs to be submitted and the original cache should be archived. This is necessary to be certain that all points in the multi-cache must meet the guidelines.

It is unfair to cachers that are wishing to seek traditional caches to encounter a multi-cache upon reaching the posted coordinates. When the description and the cache type do not match, the integrity of the game is compromised.

If you wish to maintain this part of your series as a multi-cache, please submit a new cache listing for review as a multi-cache. If you wish to have is re-instated as a traditional cache, please make changes to the description and post a reviewer note to alert me to review the listing for unarchiving.

Geocache Description:

Very Close to the Road and by a School. Easy Access. You'd think Pulpit rock was a spiritual place. In fact you'll find it was close to a spring, and in the old west that is where they watered the horses so the preachers merely had to wait for the thirsty cowboys to come by. Fire and Brimstone!

How many peoples names are on the Pulpit Rock Plaque? = "X"
New coordinates: N 45 degrees 35.(995-X)
W 121 degrees (6+X).(779-X)

This is a Small Geocache container and Pulpit rock is the first stage of 2. You will find pins, wristbands and other items inside. (Including a passport for completing The Dalles-Dash

The Dalles-Dash is a 12 cache password hunt. Find the Password on the Cache lid. Write it in the Passport. When completed bring the Passport to The Dalles Chamber and you will receive a commemorative The Dalles Geo coin.

Please be respectful of the area. There are many long time residents living close by and they love to talk and tell you stories of The Dalles past!
