a small Multi in Cassino.I believe that every cacher here will be motorized ...and I hope for him ,because the stages are a little bit far from each other ....!
Start at the given coordinates ...

Mystery 4 " Monte Cassino "
       
             
Monte Cassino and the city Cassino was one of the most batteled
place in Europe.

Many... No ! Too many peoples lost there life here ....
over 70.000 men
Nearly all nations was here....
But ....

I believe ONE did a very bad decision...
the General of the 2nd.New Zealand Corps
General Bernhard Freyberg orderd at the 15th Feb.1944
to destroy this place !!
435 tons of bombs fell down in 2 waves ...on
Monte Cassino
more than 250 civil peoples and monks lost her life ...

I am born in 1961 and my 1st. time in Cassino was 1985 ...
working at this time in a car plant....
it was a very good time
my last visit at 1997
now in 2008   I see many many changes...
the ruins on the top of Monte Rocca are "grown" ...
they are building a new "old"castle...
but now you can find a  new ..short MultiCache around Cassino

look to the North and you see a marble plate inside a wall
with some letters and 7 digits like this ..:
   BCD
E + FGH

and....         find the Final
..... is not too far from the road
in one of the sharp curves
parking there: but not more than 2 cars !!!

find the very smal path...
