Not the Solstice Event Cache

Interested persons, and those pressed into service by others, will receive a sealed envelope. Inside will be clues that, when properly manipulated, will reveal the bearings to.....treasure? No! You will be led to yet another clue. At the final you will find a container holding four keys. The first-to-find will of course take key number one.

Those four keys will match one of four treasure chests back at event central. The chests hold items of inestimable value, and are certain to get you the adoration of your peers.

Well, it won't be on the solstice, so you drunken redneck pagans are out of luck (inside joke...nevermind) However, there will be brats-in-beer, some famous eggrolls, and a special geo-challenge! Festivities (and, more importantly, the FOOD) are expected to commence promptly at 1:00 pm local time.

Here is some info on the Chain of Lakes park.

The event will take place in a large, open grassy area to the west of the large baseball diamonds. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the grassy area.

About those Icons: The park disallows doggies, so service animals only please. The terrain is flat and smooth, and fine for wheelchairs and strollers. Kids can trek to a nearby playground if they like. Parking is plentiful. I put the "dangerous area" icon there just to make it more piratey. Arrrrrr. BTW: alcohol is prohibited in the park.
