Rocky Top Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

lpyankeefan: Freeing up some real estate in and around the Hagerstown, MD area so that I can place some new caches for the "Lordy, Lordy, Look Who's 40!" Event by Friends of lpyankeefan (GC1VYW6) I may not be able to hold an event for myself, but I CAN place some caches for others to find! [:P]

Note To Dr. MD I will post an "Owner Maintenance" log when the cache has been retreived. I am archiving this cache so that it doesn't continue to show up in new pocket querys. If you have any questions, please do feel free to contact me via my profile.

Thanks!

Geocache Description:

Found the original container for this one earlier this week. Liked the song and the original hider and thought I'd bring back an oldie but a goodie. Below is the original cache page, all information still applies. Have at it friends!

Another in the Hub City Fun Series, this micro-cache is a small weather-resistant container that is hidden in broad daylight. It holds only a log paper. Bring along a writing piece.

There are no rocks in the area to speak of. There is a large roofed-over business sign nearby which served as inspiration for the cache. “Rocky Top” is also the name of a traditional blue grass song by The Osborne Brothers, one that gets some air play in this writers mind when passing by this place.

Be that as it may, there are acres of parking, and the coordinates should find you on a grassy knoll, perhaps in a Shaded area during the warm season. Replacing the cache precisely as found will assure that it remains weather-resistant. Couldn't think of a hint. Thank You.

FTF honors go to waterchild !! Congratulations on your first FTF!!!
