Geocache Description:

To find this cache you must first find the Mural in Downtown The Dalles. You will then find the coordinates to the Cache. Once there,take an easy walk through History on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River. Cache is under the Osprey sign!!!!!! You will find pins, wristbands and other items inside. (Including a passport for completing The Dalles-Dash )

This is a small Geocache container under the Osprey sign on the Columbia River Trail. From this general area the folks on the Oregon Trail made a decision: Risk the river and go on right away or winter in The Dalles and take the overland route in spring. To find this cache you will have to study the Murals.

The Dalles-Dash is a 12 cache password hunt. Find the Password on the Cache lid. Write it in the Passport. When completed bring the Passport to The Dalles Chamber and you will receive a commemorative The Dalles Geo coin.
