Utah Historical Marker, route 65, East Canyon Road. I placed a 1.5 star because of loose gravel and overgrown grass.
This is a Utah Mormon, California, and Pony Express route. This Spring Creek Station,1857-1858, supplied the Mormon Militia with supplies while defending Echo and East Canyon from Johnston's Army. When the crisis was difused Johnston's Army passed through here on June 24, 1858 on his way to Salt Lake City.
No need to climb over fence or trespass!
