Geocache Description:


RECENTLY I DISCOVERED SOME SMALL TRACKS THAT LEAD THROUGH THE WOODLAND AREA ONTO THE GOLFING DRIVES. I ALWAYS KNEW THAT THESE TRACKS HAD EXISTED BUT HAD NEVER HAD THE TIME TO CHECK THEM OUT AND PLUCK UP THE COURAGE TO DITCH THE USUAL GRAVEL PATH AND TAKE A UNSECURE ROUTE. AFTER MAKING MY WAY THROUGH THE FOLIAGE I FOLLOWED THE TRACKS A SHORT WHILE UNTIL I CAME TO SMALL OPENING THAT ON LOOKED THE GOLF COURSE. IT WAS THEN IT CAME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THERE WAS AN OBVIOUS CREAKING COMING FROM A NEARBY TREE AND THIS GAVE ME THE IDEA TO PLACE A GEOCACHE AT THIS PARTICULAR SPOT.

THE GEOCACHE IS OF SMALL SIZE AND IS BEST DESCRIBED AS A DRINKING BEAKER OR CONTAINER, IT IS ABLE TO HOLD GEOCOINS AND TRAVELSBUGS AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS OF SMALL SIZE IT CAN HOLD REGULAR SIZED TOYS AND OTHER ITEMS.

THIS CACHE'S ACCESSIBILITY MAY VARY WITH THE WEATHER AND IN SOME WEATHER CONDITIONS THERE IS A POSSIBLITY OF GETTING WET OR HAVING TO FIND YOUR OWN WAY TO THE RECOMMENDED TRACK. THERE IS ALSO A POSSIBLITY THAT "CREEKY" THE TREE MAY NOT CREAK IN CERTAIN WEATHER CONDITIONS MAKING IT HARDER TO LOCATE THE CACHES WHEREABOUTS. AS WELL AS THIS OVERHEAD TREE COVERAGE IS VASTLY GREAT AND GEOCACHERS MAY HAVE DIFFICULTY ACQUIRING SATELITES. WELLIES ARE ADVISABLE ON RAINY DAYS AND LONG TROUSERS ARE ADVISED BECAUSE OF THE GROWING POPULATION OF STINGY NETTLES. THIS CACHE MAY ALSO BE UNSUITABLE FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN.

Please note that it is not necessary to go out onto the golf course in order to spot or retrieve the cache.
