Molyneux, But She Would'nt Tell. Multi-Cache
Geeraki: It's time to call it a day with this cache. I have become very disillusioned with setting caches at the moment due to caches being vandalised and trashed.
But I have some new ideas and come the spring I shall be releasing some new caches. Needless to say any TB's or coins in the cache will be given a new home. It seems that a lot of newcomers are getting into the hobby but start to get frustrated when they meet a difficult challenge, when they decide to trash the cach,.that's not what I joined up for.
I do have some ideas that will lead to some great caches, so watch this space.

This multi-cache is based around the village of Hawton just south of Newark. It involves hunting for clues in the village to gain co ordinates for the micro cache which will then lead you to the final cache. The above co ordinates take you to an ample parking area within the village.
Named after the Molyneux family that were once resident in the village. In the church, which owes its fine tower to the Christian zeal of Sir Thomas, several members of the family lie buried, and in Thoroton’s time there were brasses to Robert Molyneux (A.D. 1539), and Dorothy his wife; and to William Molyneux (1541), and Margaret his wife; while the windows contained armorial bearings of the Molyneux, Leeke, Bussy, Bingham, FitzWilliams, Aslacton, and other ancient houses.
Once parked up you need to head for the church, co ordinates are given but seeing as its next to the parking area its not hard to find it. Once at the church you need to have a rummage around for answers to the following questions.
Age of Ann Sampey when she died on November 13th? (reverse the numbers) = CD
The age of William Sampey when he died on May 11th? = AB
William Thompson Dawson was born on February 2Fth 183E
The micro cache is located at N53 02.ABF W000 49.ECD
Before setting off for the nano cache it is vital that you head to the other given co-ordinate to answer the question given in the note. Without the answer you will not be able to gain access to the final cache. You have been warned!!!
Please be aware of the traffic through the village, allthough the village is small many cars cut through on thier way to the A46. The footpaths can become very muddy and waterloged after wet weather, so good footwear is recommended, especially wellies.
The final cache will be an ammo box stashed with all the usual (& unusual goodies). In the cache is a cache cam 35mm camera. Please feel free to take a photo of yourself, team, group, dog or anything you want. Please notify me when the film is full and I will collect & develop and publish pics on this site. The camera is loaded with a 36 frame film.
For those who would like a longer walk you could combine the hunt for this cache with "The Grange Poplars Walk". Details of this walk will be encountered as you search for the cache.
Hawton church is worthy of a visit in its own right. The principal objects of interest to be seen to-day are in the chancel, and comprise the founder’s tomb and an Easter sepulchre, which is noted as one of the finest specimens of sculpture of its kind to be found anywhere. Unfortunatly the church is now kept locked but the key is available from the house directly behind the church.
