Come celebrate the first official day of summer with your fellow
Geocachers! We'll be meeting at the Thompson Pavilion at beautiful
Zamora Lake, a private park owned by the Zamora Shriners. The
pavilion is reserved for this event all day on 6/21/08.
The park features 361 acres of woodland, a fishing lake,
campground, large swimming pool, and picnic pavilions.
Attendees can arrive as early as 9am to swim, fish, hike and
visit. The pavilion is near the pool. You'll be able to drive right
in, there shouldn't be anyone posted at the gate. A Shriner also
suggested that you bring insect repellent!
TazDevil091102 will be at the pavilion, and he will be cooking
hot dogs and hamburgers. Please post what you will bring so that we
can coordinate what and how much food and/or picnic supplies will
be available.
