Small cache in my favorite park. Short walk along paved trail that is rarely used. Can be muggles near and far.
Cache is best reached from 48th Street and Chandler Blvd.
This is the 3rd cache in my "Electric" series. It is a micro cache with room for log only. Please BYOP. Located in Pecos Park. There is also no need to climb any fences or park on a freeway. Again, the best way to approach the cache site is to enter the park from 48th Street and Chandler Blvd. Bring the kids and the dogs as there is plenty for both to do.
The 66-acre regional Pecos Park offers families lighted soccer, football, and multipurpose athletic fields, a skate plaza, 1.5-acre off-leash activity area for dogs, large playground with splash pad play area, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, ramadas, sand and concrete volleyball courts, and walking paths.
The new community center is open 6am-9pm Monday through Friday and 10am-8pm on Saturdays (closed Sundays).
