A traditional cache (small Loc 'n Loc) in Gilmer County, WV located at the historic Duck Run Cable Suspension Bridge. NOTE: The bridge itself is marked "No Trespassing" because of its deteriorated condition. The cache is not located on the bridge deck.

See the historical marker. The bridge was built by local labor, suspension cable supplied by the Roebling Co., builders of the Brooklyn Bridge in N.Y.C. The Duck Run Bridge spans 350 ft. A picnic table and bench beneath the bridge allow for viewing the Little Kanawha River as it passes and for appreciaitng the utility and design of the cable suspension bridge. The bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
