Geocache Description:

Traditional cache hidden in Rock Creek Park off Beach Dr.

The Maryland section of Rock Creek Park is maintained by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC). The facilities include picnic areas, ball fields, ball courts, and Nature Centers.

In this case the cache is hidden close to one of the picnic areas with a parking area a couple of hundred feet away from the cache. If you want to enjoy a nice hike in the park, leave your car in one of the multiple parking areas along the Beach Dr and follow the trail that will take you directly across the road from the listed parking. The area of the hide tends to get muddy after rain.

The cache container is a 2qt rubbermaid container with white lid and there is a magnetic search stick as a FTF prize.
