This cache is located on an old farm, now a popular access site for activities on the river.
This cache site was an old farm. The area has many old fruit trees and remain located thoughout the site. The farm was owned by Charles Worst from Illinois. The farm was active from the early 1900's, the depression era, and right up to the end of WWII. The site has since turned into a popular access site on the North Branch Au Sable river. The area is very busy on the weekends with fishermen and some campers.
