Hundholmen är en liten ö i närheten av Drottningholm slott. Vacker utsikt över slottet i solnedgång från berget på öns norra sida. På den södra sidan finns fina klippor, utmärkta för fiske, grillning eller ett dopp om solen skiner.
Till ön kommer man med egen båt, alternativt om vattentemperaturen är den rätta, efter en kort simtur från Högholmen. På vintern ligger förhoppningsvis isen, men var då mycket försiktig då det är strömt i sundet och isen kan vara tunn.

Hundholmen is a small island close to Drottningholm castle. Beautiful view overlooking the castle and sunset from the hill on the north side of the island. On the south side are nice cliffs, excellent place for fishing, a barbeque or a dip in the water if the sun is shining.
To the island you go by boat of your own or, if the water temerature is right, after a short swim from Högholmen. In the winter it’s usually ice on the lake, but be very carefull if walking to the island, the water is swiftly-flowing between the islands and the ice can be thin.
