Geocache Description:

This is a magnetic nano, placed in sight or close to the pubs name.

This has been a focal point for village life for many years, as the name suggests the pub often hosted meets of the Holcombe Hunt. It is said that it is possibly the oldest in England. James I, after a memorable day out with the harrier pack decreed that in future it’s members would not wear the traditional harrier green but his own Royal scarlet.

Busy road junction here so please take care when crossing the roads.
