The cache has been placed alongside a foot/cycle path that is part
of the "National Cycle Route", at Kilmahog (a hamlet, situated on
the River Leny a mile to the west of Callander at the junction of
the Trossachs and Lochearnhead roads).
We decided to name the cache in honour of a very hairy and
famous "Highland Coo" (bull!) in these parts - "Hamish McKay
Denovan" (born 8th February 1993). He lives in a field near the
woollen mill and is a very friendly character. You can just tell
that he absolutely loves all the attention that he gets from
visiting tourists and locals.

We've given the cache a "2" rating because although the short
walk along the path is totally flat and easy, you have to make your
way down a fairly steep embankment to reach GZ. Take care making
your way down to it, especially on wet weather days!! Stealth will
be needed at most times as it really is a very popular route with
both cyclists and walkers.
The cache is a medium sized lock and lock container. At the time
of placing, the original contents were:
Log book, pencil, small, sharpener and stash card - all in a
ziploc bag.
Swaps: Small clock, toy car, toy pony, yo-yo, Signal pin badge,
Geocaching.com wristband, weights & measures conversion fridge
magnet.
