Geocache Description:

Third in my series of caches utilizing means of conveyance not typically used while geocaching is Aircache. This should be a quick hit unless you're tempted to stay for one of the best burgers in Clatsop County and watch the planes take off and land.

Many cachers may not be aware of the fact that there is a branch of this hobby called airport geocaching. You can learn more by visiting (visit link) and checking the listings for an airport near you. Pilots like to hunt for caches that are within one mile of the ramp, so this will be a close one. Even if you are not a pilot you can get this find which can be easily accessed using either Airport Rd. or Airport Ln. Please stay away from the runway and don't try to cut across from the caches along Young's Bay. This cache is planted with permission, so we don't want to give any reason to have it removed. Thanks!
