Geocache Description:

A small traditional cache located near the south end of a public creek trail on Old Town Goleta.

This cache is located at the southern end the first major "Old Town" redevelopment project in the city of Goleta. As part of this project, the creek underwent rehabilitation, and a short public creekside trail was established. This trail starts at Hollister Ave and runs south along the East edge of the project. It ends at the southern entrance to the property where a new bridge has been installed connecting to Kellogg Way.

I was very surprised and impressed with the improvements to this area. Even though you can drive within several feet of the cache, I recommend parking to the north and walking the trail to the GZ. (see parking coordinates).

It should be no surprise that the cache is hidden to match it's immediate surroundings. As always, please take time to reset exactly as found (or better) to provide a good challenge for the next finder. Don't forget to Have Fun!

Hint: You don't need to go as far back as the transformer behind the bushes.
