Little Missouri Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

isht kinta: Since the cache owner has not responded to my reviewer log about the cache, nor did they post a note to the cache page telling me and others of their intention to address the issue with it, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to the cache page requesting the cache owner to post a response on what they were planning to do with the cache. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that they are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

This Cache is hidden next to the highway. There is a good place to pull off the road right close by it so you will be safe from the traffic. This cache contains what we thought were some cool items, that reflect some of our hobbies.

This cache is a rubbermaid type container. Its an easy find and easily found with children and a good place to pull right off of the road. We updated the Cache today and added new items. The coordinates may not be exact but they are very close. Enjoy the history of the area and keep your eye out for bald eagles that are known to live our that way!

In the 1960's surrounding wooded swampland was cleared and drained. Before adequate roads, phone and mail service were established, intrepid farmers cultivated and settled the land, making it productive. So many of the farmers came from Missouri that the area came known as Little Missouri
