Geocache Description:

This two litre cache is located at the top of the McNally Track in Milton.

The McNally Track is located in the hills behind Milton. From the top of the McNally track one can gain good views of the town of Milton, the Tokomairiro plains and the Pacific Ocean.

To access this cache park at the bottom of the McNally Track near the Milton Cemetery in Tokoiti.

Walking time is 2 and half hours return and require crossing steep farmland - the bush loop passes through some nice native forest with some large native trees.

The cache is a 2L sistema container hidden near the plane table at the top of the track. When placed the cache contained various trades, a logbook, pencil and pencil sharpener.
The McNally track was opened in 1980 to remember the local policeman Tom McNally and is now maintained by the local Rotary club.

As the cache is accessed over private farmland, please respect the access granted - access to the cache is sometimes unavailable each year due to lambing.

* The farmland is quite exposed so take warm clothing
