Rocks & Rafts Traditional Cache
akglacierdog: This seemed like an awesome spot for a cache until all the bear activity. Hopefully I will place a "version 2" cache in the vicinity in the spring or when I find a better spot. Thanks to all the cachers who visited it! Cache on in Eagle River!

An Eagle River cache with some rocks, woods, water, and maybe even some rafters to see!
This is one of my favorite spots in my hometown. It's got a little of everything...nice woods, really cool rocks and formations (if you're a geology nerd like me), an old river and even some modern bridge design. The glacial erratic - really big, lone rock near the start of the bridge - is a good place to start. Don't know yet if it will be winter accessible.
Congrats to Malcore on FTF! Guess I'll have to down-grade the difficulty level....
