Geocache Description:

THE ABOVE COORDINATES ARE NOT THE ACTUAL CACHE LOCATION . Just off the road.

I placed this cache to put in a area that was previously missed. I am trying to cover our Quincy Valley with some new caches in areas that are outside of town. This is also my first attempt at a puzzle cache. I have another 1-2 in the works...but I want to see how this one goes over first....so in the process, I wanted to do some sort of history lesson while I was at it. Since everyone out in the Basin has Grand Coulee to thank for our way of living...I figured make it about the Dam. Good Luck>

Questions to Answer to Obtain Coordinates: 1. How long is Grand Coulee Dam?

2. How high is the Dam?

3. What month was the Dam opened (numeric)?

4. How tall is the glass elevator a tourist can ride in on the Dam Tour?

5. What is the total amount of concrete used in the construction of the Dam?

6. With the total amount of concrete above, you could build a sidewalk 4' wide and 4" thick to cover the equator how many times?

7. Initials of the President who commissioned the building of the Dam? ____=4 ____=7 ____=2

8. What year was the Dam completed?

9. Length of Lake Roosevelt behind the Dam?

Here are the clues to find the actual Coordinates

N= __ = 3rd # in the year the Dam was completed
__* = Middle initial of sitting President
__ __ = (Height of the Dam)- 100 (divided by 2), then take that Square Root of your answer.
__. = Height of the Glass Elevator (x 2) divided by 200
__ = 4th Number in the Length of the Dam
__ = Answer to Question #6 (x 26) divided by 13

W= __ = 3rd # in the length of Lake Roosevelt (behind the Dam)
__ = Last # in total amount of concrete used to build the Dam.
__* = Height of the Dam divided by 61
__ __. = 3rd thru 5th numbers in answer to Question #5 divided by 23.
__ = Last Initial of the Sitting President. __ __ = Square root of 121
