Just off the trail, about 2.5 km from one of 2 access points.
This is a traditional cache in Fanshawe Conservation Area. It’s along the trail that circles Fanshawe Lake. A trail permit is required before entering the trail system. This can be obtained at the main gate at 1424 Clarke Road at a cost of $5 per person or $10 per car load. The money goes to help maintain and improve the trail system. If you enter the Conservation Area at the main gates you can access, at the time of this posting, 7 geocaches placed along the entire 20 km trail which circles the lake. One word of caution, this is a multi use trail so watch for mountain bikers.
