Geocache Description:

This is the second cache placed along this stretch of the nature trail off of the east Lexington bridge. This cache is located along the Chessie Trail segment.

Enjoy the hike along this portion of the Chessie Trail, where you are apt to see hikers, joggers, families fishing, and various wildlife. Expect a hike up to 1/4 of a mile and poor GPS signals until you near the cache site.

Leave the gravel trail just beside the wooden bench and head down the steep dirt trail toward the river. Make a turn at the hollow stump, and the cache is just a short distance away. This cache will be unavailable if the river reaches flood stage, but should be protected in its site.

Find the cache in an ammo box, with a variety of contents: toy monkey and horse, CITO bag, halloween bear, Stephen King's Concordance from the Dark Tower series, a ruler, fuses, electrical connectors, fishing bobber, toy house, and decoder TB. Also included are a pencil and logbook, but bring your own just in case. FTF scores a lottery ticket.
