According to a marker that used to be across the road, this long bench deep in Logan Canyon was a delta created by ancient Lake Bonneville at its farthest extent up the canyon. Today you get a nice view up and down the canyon when you hike up here on the Spring Hollow or Mill Hollow Trails.
