I used to have two
beautiful yellow golden retrievers that I would take Geocaching
with me along the American River. I had to put down my 8 y/o male
last march and now just geocache with my 5 y/o female.
My male, Bubba, was
a true water dog. Whenever we would come to the river he would pull
on the leash towards the river wanting to go for a swim. Once I let
him in he would lie down in the water and cool off and play all
around. Sadie, my female, didn’t like the water as much. She
enjoyed chasing the squirrels, rabbits, turkeys, and whatever she
could sniff out.
These caches are
for the fun times my dogs and I have along this River. When you are
at these spots you will be able to see the river and imagine Bubba
swimming in the river and Sadie looking around for something to
chase. This cache is a small camo lock and lock. It can fit very
small items and has a few in it now. Please bring a pen to log your
find and replace as you found it.
