Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed for the Go And Get 'Em 12 event. Please do not search for it until Friday June 27th at 6 PM. Any logs before this time will be deleted.

There is a legend that speaks of somewhere, deep in the center of the gnome forest, the tomb of the golden cache containing vast riches sits undisturbed. Well, at least that's what forest resident gnomes Terrance and Phillip have been whispering in Indiana Gnomes' ear ever since they moved into the neighbourhood. Those two troublemakers have been known to cry goblin one two many times, so, while still intrigued by the story, Indy was somewhat skeptical about it's truthfulness. After much consideration, Indy decided to venture into the unknown and seek out the golden cache to put to rest the story once and for all.

It was a tough slog for a little gnome, with tall ferns, swampy areas, and poison ivy at every turn. Despite all the obstacles, he pressed on. To his pleasant surprise, he soon came upon the tomb (which looked suspiciously like a wooden cupboard to him) and found the golden cache box inside... only to find that it was too big for him to carry! The tomb, while scary at first, soon became quite comfortable to Indy, so despite the snakes, spiders, and the remains of a previous gnome adventurer littering up the place, Indy decided to take up residence.

Now acting as the cache guardian Indiana Gnomes welcomes you to discover the tomb for yourself, but asks that you leave his home intact and simply make fair trades from the golden cache box!!

As the story suggests, it's a bit of a bushwhack to get to ground zero. The shortest approach is from the east, but I'm sure a little bit of poison ivy and some water isn't going to stop people on GAG night, right? I've added a few markers to make the cache site easier to find at night, but I'm pretty sure it's size alone will make it easy to spot. Hope you enjoy finding it as much as I did making it!
