We decided to place this cache in honor of Wandering John, who was along with us when we were out hiking in the area looking for a stage of another multi-cache. As we crossed this beautiful meadow area, I noted that when you looked off across the meadow towards the mountainous looking dam in the background you could almost see Julie Andrews twirling in a circle with her hands up in the air while singing the Sound of Music. (My rendition at the time was comparitively quite weak.) Wandering John then exclaimed it was so breathtaking that he thought we should all "frolic" (his word) across this enchanted meadow. (Like the animals in Cinderella or Bambi or something, I guess... ?) Its a sight none of the rest of us will ever forget.
While you are in the enchanted meadow, try the "singing twirl" or the "frolic" yourself. And when you get home, let us know in your log if your experience was as Rodgers/Hammerstein/Disney as ours!
