You are looking for a Park & Ponder. That is, the cache is a
relatively easy P&G, for an easy smiley, but offers something a
little deeper to ponder for the die-hard GEO adventurer. If all you
need or want is another smiley, go ahead, grab the little dickens,
sign the log and be on your merry way. Ignore everything else that
follows.
GEO-Poker
For the rest of you GEO-maniacs, WAMM is starting a new series that
should tempt your intellectual taste buds. GEO-Poker.
That’s the name of the game. The goal: put together a winning
poker hand, based on what you find near the cache. More
specifically, you need to end up with an Ace, King, Queen, Jack and
Ten, all the same suit.
How? After finding the cache and signing the log, look around.
Somewhere, within direct line-of-sight, is a business,
official sign or other landmark that contains the name of a
card; perhaps, Little Jack Cafe, or Ace Fitness
Center, or Kingsford Apartments, Queens Blvd., etc.
There may be more than one such business, sign or landmark within
view, but only the right one will count.
After you log the cache at GeoCaching.com, send WAMM an email with
the name of the cache, along with the complete business name, sign
or other landmark that contains what you think is the card for that
location. Some cards may be obvious; some may not. When
you’ve gathered all 5 cards for any GEO-Poker series
you’re a winner and get listed in our winner’s circle.
Gather all four series (Clubs, Hearts, Spades and Diamonds) and get
listed as a Geo-Poker Champion.
I’ve shuffled the deck; so don’t expect to find the Ace
at location 1 and the King at location 2, etc. You’ll need
your thinking caps for each find. Good luck!
