The Fix

I got a call from the intrepid adventurer Johnny Cache the other day saying that he just finished making a tour of the West-Island on an ultra light plane. He had brought with him my Acme Corporation high precision compass that I had the forethought to adjust to true bearings before lending.

«C'est magnifique, c'est formidable» he explained.  He was playing with the compass taking measurements of various West-Island Landmarks.

PCWT He remembered going over an interesting Blue building with a huge sky window.  For some reason, he also remembers that as he was passing over this building, the ultra light was on a heading of 103° and his speed was 68.13km/h.

Exactly 3 minutes later, while admiring the beautiful scenery, he noticed he was still on the same heading and speed.  He took a bearing of the Pointe-Claire water tower.  It showed at 237.543°. While fiddling to put the compass back, for fear of dropping it, he DID.

So that is when our intrepid adventurer finally called me upon his return home.   He did apologize for his action and assured me that it could be easily retrieved even if it was a slightly windy day.

But you see, I am waiting for the compass to be returned, so I can finish a very elaborate plan I have been working on.  He told me not to worry, that if I posted a note here someone would know how to find it for me.

Help

I am in a real fix now, can you help?

Congratulations to the FTF: Navi-Gatr
