Geocache Description:

This is part of the Hampton Roads 500. Please take note of the number inside the log and keep this in a safe place.

The American population deserves the making of a true quality Racing Movie? Now when I say true, what I mean is a movie that reflects the reality, not the fantasy. Great stories have drama, suspense, anticipation, characters, a beginning and an end. Can anyone argue that all of these elements are not part of every race? All 36 of them! And this doesn’t even consider the story lines that build from the first race at Daytona to the final race at Miami/Homestead.

Over the years, Hollywood has tried to create the definitive genre movie

• Red Line 7000
• Stroker Ace
• Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
• The Last American Hero

But only one real quality film to date is that of “Days of Thunder”.
