Paradise Seascape Traditional Cache

An easy to access geocache on flat terrain within a few metres of the sea.
This is my second geocache on this beautiful island and is situated at Agios Sostice near the lively resort of Laganas. From the cache site there are superb views of the western side of Laganas Bay, famous for its Caretta Caretta or Loggerhead Turtles which lay their eggs on the protected eastern beaches of the bay.
There are views of distant Marathonisi Island and Keri Bay. Tiny Cameo Island, reached by a 150 metre footbridge is nearby and has a lively and colourful nightclub on it in the summer months.
The cache is hidden about 3 metres from the coastal path between Cameo Island and Porto Koukla near the base of a low cliff.
The original contents are :- Log book & pencil, Nail Clippers, Yokii Bracelet, Yokii studs and a sticky rubber spider.
In accordance with Geocaching regulations this cache is being maintained by friends who are residents of the island living locally.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS UNNECESSARY AND DANGEROUS TO CLIMB THE SOFT ROCK CLIFF IN ORDER TO ACCESS THIS CACHE. PLEASE KEEP BOTH FEET ON THE GROUND!
