A nice "Thank You Beeville" cache from ATMA.
The FTF prize is a couple of our ATMA coins...
This cache is to celebrate our week of caching down in the Valley and a small thank you to the Beeville area hiders for the fun they gave us while visiting.
It being the next to the last day of our vacation, we started out early in the morning caching Harlingen. We cached our way North on Highway 77 through Corpus Christi, then took Highway 181 through Sinton, Skidmore and finally arrived in Beeville by dark.
We thought getting a room would be a snap only to be faced with “Sorry” there’s no room at the Inn. It seems there was a large wedding, graduation, and funeral all scheduled for the weekend.
Desperate, we said we would take anything, even the linen closet!
The nice man behind the counter said if you only need it for one night, we do have “The Honeymoon Suite!”. Without any hesitation or inquiry to the price we both said “We’ll take it”.
Our jaws dropped as we walked into the room and Mrs. ATMA asked where’s the bed. In the other room was the response from Mr. ATMA. A large 2 person Jacuzzi was there in the corner of the living room…. They did say it was a Honeymoon Suite.
The cache can be found by lifting a skirt. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed the room.
