On state gamelands. If the gates are closed it will Involve a 40 min rd. trip walk from the parking lot
Turn off St Rd.#53 about 1/2 mile north of Frugality. One mile of dirt road to parking at N40*39.266 W078*28.819 Then walk to the Sanctuary entrance at N40*38.971 W078*28.570 You must enter THE SANCTUARY at the Sanctuary entrance then follow the cache cord. Please note, this is a TREE sanctuary. There are no restriction on entering the area, the high fence is there only to keep DEER out. This is to give the area which has been timbered a chance to regrow with out damage from deer browsing. The propagation fence has been removed. No need to locate the gate.
