We have been waiting to put out a simple "Welcome" to our hometown of Crystal Lake, and thought this little park by our Chamber of Commerce was an ideal spot. Some of you Geocachers will remember that our GONIL Earth Day Event, organized by our friend Rocky, was held here in April.
The coordinates will lead you to a neat object of interest - thus the "time" theme. The actual cache is about 100 feet away to the West or a bearing of 260. It is a small vial with just a log, so bring your own pencil. When replacing the container please press down firmly so hopefully it doesn't go AWOL again.
Take "time" to enjoy our town - lots of good caching to be done, many interesting parks to see, and always good food stops for hungry cachers. Sometimes caching is not just about the numbers.....It's about "Time" spent!
