We will be working with the Rangers of the historic Ft. Churchill
and Buckland Station parks. We will be working for about 4 hours
constructing a fire pit in the orchard, installing a fire ring,
maintaining the trail from the campgrounds to the orchard, cleaning
up rubbish and vacating weeds and debris in the day use area.
Please show your support for preserving and interpreting Nevada's
Historical places.
Bring gloves, water and high spirits. If you can bring rakes,
pruners, shovels, etc it might be a help.
We will be touring the Buckland Station after the days projects
at about 2 pm.
Please bring a food dish or side to share at the Potluck dinner.
Please post what you will bring on your post. Currently we have;
-Hot Dogs -Baked Beans -Chicken legs and thighs -Potato salad
We will place a cache in the new area of the park to commemorate
the event.
