Welcome to the North Central West Region Challenge!
Lake Bemidji State Park will host a special deer hunt as part of our overall resource management program. On October 18-19 and November 8-11, areas of the park will be open to permitted hunting. The park will remain open to public use but you should plan on wearing bright orange while you are searching for a geocache. Vests are available at the park office for your use in the park.
Congratulations – you have made it through the challenge! In order to complete the North Central West Regional Challenge (and receive your special regional medallion) you will need to find one final cache.
After finding all of the Geocaching History Challenge caches in 19 parks of the North Central West Region, bring the History Challenge history cards you’ve collected to the Lake Bemidji state park office. Office hours are daily from 9am to 4pm. Show the cards to park staff and you will receive the coordinates for the final cache.
