Antheia: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. If you are having difficulty doing so then please contact me via my profile and I will try to get someone to assist. This is particularly important if your cache appears to contain Travelbugs or Geocoins.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The cache is located close to a footpath which can be located on Chestnut Lane. There is a stile to cross and the footpath is clear most of the way. After heavy rainfall the path would become very muddy.

This cache is to mark our daughters 2nd birthday on 11th June 2008. The cache container is unusual and if you have young children or grandchildren you maybe familiar with the container. The container is fairly large, but because of its shape, it only contains a log and pencil. The cache is inside a black bag, which we do intend to replace with a camo bag soon.

PLEASE make sure the cap to the log in replaced before replacing the lid to prevent the log dropping inside the container.

The views to and from the cache of the outlying countryside are very picturesque. A good view of St.Andrew's Church can also be had.

We would recomend parking either on Church Street or on the main part of Chestnut Lane.

If you have not done our New Year Amble Caches (GC189N4 and GC189NR) these can be accessed on a circular walk. Our Well Cache GC16Z70, Taking a breather GC1D4B9 and Micro Stile GC1D0F4 are also nearby.

Happy Caching
